14 – 26 July 2019
Every year, in the second half of July, in Ruse, Bulgaria, Allegra Festival and Academy provides an excellent opportunity for communication between audiences, students, and world-class professors and performers. It is the natural continuation and fruitful development of the International Summer Academy Allegra (ISA Allegra), which began its existence in 2014.
The Academy itself aims to offer young musicians an opportunity to get inspired by working with distinguished teachers and fellow musicians, sharpen their skills in every aspect of their craft, and present their achievements to a culturally-interested public.
At the same time, the Festival strives to offer audiences not only the rich results of the masterclasses’ work in the form of public concerts, but also many more breath-taking performances with the participation of world-known professionals in the field.
July 14th to July 26th 2019
Allegra festival was for me the perfect balance between having a really nice time at a lovely place with great musicians from all over the world and working with an amazing professor, achieving quite a lot within just a week! Furthermore, everything is planed very well and everyone gives you the feeling they are very happy to have you in their city!
My experience at Allegra was great. I enjoyed a lot the orchestra’s experience and the classes with Prof. Hamann were awesome. I liked a lot how the masterclass was organised, everything was very professional and very well planned. This masterclass was a life experience for me because of all the new friendships I have established. I really enjoyed the fact that the students were from all over the world and that I had this totally new cultural experience.
I gained orchestra and solo repertoire experience at this festival, and the best thing is meeting very good musicians who became my good friends.
