Rounds
The competition will be administered in three rounds, the winners of which will be determined by an international panel of judges.

First Round
Applicants are required to submit a link to a video recording (please consult the Video Requirements section under Rules)of a freely chosen program between 20 and 30 minutes long as part of their application. Deadline for submission: April 18th, 2021, 18:00 CET.
Contestants will be informed individually by e-mail of the results, which will also be made publicly available on the Allegra website no later than April 30st, 2021, 18:00 CET.

Second Round
A maximum of 30 contestants will be admitted to the second round. They will be required to submit a link to a video recording (please consult the Video Requirements section under Rules) of a program not exceeding 30 minutes no later than May 20, 2021. The repertoire for this round will be once more freely chosen, but the program must include at least one own choice work from the Repertoire list: Violin, Viola and Cello.
Contestants will be informed individually by e-mail of the results, which will also be made publicly available on the Allegra website no later than May 31st, 2021, 18:00 CET.

Third and Final Round
The chamber music will be performed by the contestants together with members of the jury. The rehearsals for the third round will take place on July 16th and 17th, 2021.
The final ranking will be determined by the jury based on the performance in the final round, but also with consideration of the recordings submitted during the first and second rounds. Immediately following the final concert on July 18, 2021, the jury will convene to determine final results. The winners and their awards will be presented in a post-concert ceremony. All finalists of the competition must attend the award ceremony.
